Beschreibung
In this masterclass we will look at the techniques of mould making and slip casting and start making small editions of your pieces! The course is divided into three different phases. The first two sessions are dedicated to the moulding of the object, starting from a hand-made mould or from an existing or found object. You will learn how to prepare models for casting, how to make a 2 or 3 piece mould and how to tackle more complex forms for slip casting. In the third session we will enter a second phase: we will slip cast and refine the pieces. In the final session, we will enter the decoration phase, with an understanding of the different approaches to decoration and the preparation of glazes. This course requires previous knowledge, it is possible to choose to work with different slip bodies (porcelain,stoneware). Feel free to bring the object you want for your small edition, as I will work with you on your individual project! (but make sure the form is feasible in two sessions) Entdecken Sie die Welt von flüssigem Porzellan und Steingut! In diesem Meisterkurs erlernen Sie die Form- und Gusstechniken und stellen eine Kleinserie her! Der Kurs ist in drei Arbeitsphasen unterteilt. In den ersten beiden Sitzungen geht es um die Herstellung der Gipsform, Sie werden Ihr eigenes Modell anfertigen und eine Gussform entwerfen und herstellen. Im zweiten Teil wird die Form mit einer Porzellan- oder Steinzeugmasse ausgegossen. Im letzten Teil lernen Sie verschiedene Dekorations- und Glasurtechniken kennen und bemalen und glasieren Ihre Kleinserienobjekte. Für diesen Kurs, in dem mit verschiedenen Gießmassen (Porzellan, Steinzeug) gearbeitet werden kann, sind Grundkenntnisse erforderlich. Ich werde mit Ihnen an Ihrem individuellen Projekt arbeiten, bringen Sie also gerne Ihr Wunschobjekt für Ihre kleine Edition mit!
