Beschreibung
Experience the magic of character transformation on stage. In this class we will discover how to improve our stage presence and ignite our imagination, as a group and individually. Using a mixture of ancient and modern theater techniques, we will learn how to channel the personality, the emotions, the voice and mannerisms that allow us to transform from one charactor to another. We will also explore the voice of the storyteller, how to create imaginary environments and how to connect better with the audience. We will work on devising scenes together, looking at how we can support each other better as actors and make the scene come alive physically and emotionally. Committing to this kind of work takes courage, but those who do will be amazed by the results. Get ready to dive in, expand your imagination, and make new friends! As an experienced director and actress Priscilla has collected hundreds of theatre games through the years. For this class she has selected the most effective ones and will adjust them to suit the needs of both advanced and beginner students alike. The class will be held in a beautiful old fashioned auditorium. It's great fun for amateur actors to have the chance to perform on a stage in such a lovely space. Priscilla Bergey is an American actress, director and playwright living and working professionally in Berlin since 1984.She is also the director and founder of Berlin International Youth Theatre in connection with English Theatre Berlin Performing Arts center (IPAC) since 2008.
