Beschreibung
Der Kurs wird in Englisch durchgeführt. This course introduces beginners and professionals to the world of Data Science & Machine Learning using Python. You will start from the very basics of programming and data, then step by step move into how to prepare data, build models, and use ML for real-world problems. The instructor will guide participants with examples and small projects. Course Modules Module 1: Python & Data Analysis Basics Learn Python step by step with variables, loops, and functions, then move into pandas and matplotlib, plotly to analyze datasets. By the end, you'll be able to load CSV files, clean data, create charts, and understand why Python is the foundation of modern data science. Module 2: Data Preparation & Visualization Discover the importance of data cleaning and transformation. With pandas and seaborn, you'll handle missing values, format datasets, and create insightful visualizations. You'll gain beginner-friendly skills to make raw data ready for analysis. Module 3: Introduction to Machine Learning Explore how ML works by learning supervised vs. unsupervised learning. You'll train simple models like linear regression and decision trees, test them with real datasets, and understand model evaluation using metrics like accuracy and R². Module 4: Projects & Real-World Applications Apply your skills to small projects: predicting housing prices, classifying images, or clustering customers. You’ll also learn the basics of using scikit-learn pipelines. Finally, you’ll build a mini end-to-end ML workflow from data input to model prediction. By the end of this course, you will be able to: - Write basic Python programs for data handling and visualization. - Clean, prepare, and visualize datasets using pandas, matplotlib, and seaborn. - Understand core ML concepts and train simple models with scikit-learn. - Apply ML to beginner-friendly real-world projects and build a mini pipeline. The course takes place online on the learning platform vhs.cloud. To participate you need a course code, which you will receive with the registration confirmation. We recommend participating from a computer with a headset and camera. Current browser versions of Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome are required to actively use the conference tool.
